Breathwork is a powerful tool that helps me regulate my nervous system during moments of stress. It has expanded my tolerance towards stress because it strengthens my ability to be with discomfort without running away or shutting down.

Talk therapy could only go so deep before my childhood trauma patterns would surface: e.g. blaming, defensiveness, dissociation, yelling, and shutting down due to feelings of shame and inadequacy. Breathwork focuses on the emotions that are trapped in my body. Sometimes a specific memory would surface in a session, that moment in time a belief was formed that I’m not enough, worthy, or capable. The breath allows me to go beyond my wounded ego and into a place of natural healing and harmony.

I believe breathwork can help bring ease to everyone in any situation. From an uncomfortable conversation at work to financial stress in a relationship, breathwork can support and give perspective in our life moment to moment. A few simple practices can help calm the overactive mind before bed, can help you really hear your partner in the middle of a heated fight, or can bring greater peace in the midst of an anxiety-ridden world.

My own healing journey has offered me insight in working with trauma, the brain, and the nervous system with compassion. The depth in which I have looked at myself is the depth I can now hold for you. I believe healing can only happen in a safe environment and it takes an acknowledgement of these wounded parts for them to feel validated, seen, and heard. I’m here to guide you deeper into yourself for you to discover your own healing ability. The breath is always moving you. With a few simple practices, you can tap into the creativity, wisdom, and trust, that already exists within you.
